The customer experienced localized water damage that soaked a carpeted room and leaked into the bottom of an interior wall cavity. High moisture levels reaching 60.5% required the removal of baseboards and baseboard tack strips to target trapped hidden moisture before structural rot could set in.
Fire Reconstruction Inc. pulled back the saturated carpet edges and removed the baseboards to inspect the underlying wall base plate. We made precise openings to inspect the interior wall cavities and utilized diagnostic moisture meters to track structural saturation levels.
